We all accumulate - we gather stuff
When we shop, we buy things
When we open our devices, we collect emails and messages, and consume media
When we interact with others, we build relationships, for better or for worse
When we think, our mind can run riot
When we feel, especially as HSPs, our feelings may be too painful or we numb out so we don’t feel them.
How do you feel when you have too much stuff in any part of your life?
Overwhelmed?
Swamped?
Exhausted?
Frazzled?
Snowed under?
Inundated?
Would you be interested?
If so, let me, Cat P Field, the Letting Go Guide help you. I offer a 3-month personalised programme to help you feel more relaxed, free and structured around your stuff. We work on Zoom, with or without video - your choice.
First session – we work through the Life Leaf, looking at all parts of your cluttered life and envisioning your freer life
Subsequent sessions – we focus on one particular area that you want to prioritise and, once you’re comfortable with that, then we continue onto the next most important area, and the next
From the second time we meet, if you’re comfortable with this, we spend 5 minutes in silence at the beginning, before speaking. This allows you to spend time with yourself, letting go of obligations and concerns that may be going round in your mind, and enabling you to come back to yourself.
As the Letting Go Guide, my coaching is for Highly Sensitive People, helping them to Look at their life, Let go of what they no longer need and organise the rest so they can Live their values. And letting go could be physical (clutter clearing), emotional/mental (models to help with this) or spiritual (soul coaching). It’s coaching starting where you’re at, supporting you to let go and holding your virtual hand while you take your next steps.
“Cat has a great gift for transforming overwhelming office chaos into an organised and manageable set of systems. Although she naturally thinks in an organised way, she realises that not everybody’s brain works the same. She’s great at finding out how we see things, and what our strengths and preferences are, then she can tailor her advice kindly and gently to fit with what we’re more easily able to do. I now know that there’s more to filing something than just putting it away out of sight to make the place look tidier.
The mere thought of office organisation used to make me shudder or run out and do something more interesting instead. Now when I think of it, I can hear the special ‘filing song’ that Cat made up for me just to make the whole thing into more of a fun game than a boring chore. I know that’s not going to be everybody’s cup of tea, but for me it did the job of breaking the belief that office admin jobs have to be dull. She’s taught me that it’s not what you do, it’s the way that you do it that gets long term results. And the result for me is that I’m much more enthusiastic about creating and maintaining enough order in my office to give me the headspace to be relaxed and creative. Thanks Cat, you’re a star!”

Is this you?
Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) often have too much clutter, whether it’s physical, emotional/spiritual, digital or even Covid-related. They feel overwhelmed and/or disorganised and are often ashamed to admit this as everyone else seems to have sorted their life. They’re not living the life of their dreams because they’re being weighed down by their current life.
They want to feel freer, more streamlined and organised and, ultimately, more at peace in their life. They want structure where currently there is none, and they want to have let go of what no longer serves them.
This is what the Letting Go Guide can help you with. My background as both an accountant and a minister is a rare combination of the manifest and unmanifest. I’ve cleared out my life and now live simply in so many ways. I’ve done (and am still doing) the hard work of letting go: physically; digitally; emotionally; spiritually.

“I took the opportunity of a series of life coaching sessions with Cat because I was feeling stuck in a rut and unfulfilled at work while often dreaming of starting my own small creative business. Cat constructed and held safe space where I could feel at ease and speak openly. We looked together at key aspects of my life, with the intention of finding ways to feel more joyful and peaceful. Cat offered a range of tools and techniques to work through challenges I identified and enabled me to find solutions that work for me. Cat’s coaching helped me to realise that I could set up my own creative business, but fear had been holding me back. Thank you Cat for encouraging and supporting me to follow my dreams.”

“All the art of living lies in a fine mingling of letting go and holding on.”

Do you feel like your possessions are weighing you down? Do they affect you emotionally?
Do you look at your overloaded computer screen and can’t find your way around your files and folders, never feeling productive?
Do you feel you need more tools and techniques to help you with this challenging thing called Life?
Do you have a relationship (colleague, friend, family, close) that just feels like hard work or someone that you’re having trouble forgiving?
Do you need somewhere safe to talk about the world situation and how you feel about it all?
Do you want to be heard, listened to and validated for who you are?
I was needing to reorganise a lot of areas of my life as it felt like it was holding me back from moving on. There was one area in particular that had been particularly challenging: it was my craft box which had been full of unfinished projects, some going back almost 40 years! Cat helped to walk me through the process of sorting, clearing and organising, along with a lot of emotional bumps along the way. Cat helped me to create a clear and organised space. I ended up with an organised space where I completed all the unfinished projects and reintegrated doing craft work into my life which I really enjoy. Cat was so calm and helpful throughout the process and helped me through the blocks that had stopped me going forward for many years.
